The Epiphany is actually when the kings of the east, visited Jesus when He was born. Bringing Him gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh and there they worshiped the new born Son of God. The Epiphany parties that we have today are parties where people come dressed as kings, those who are of foreign decent, dress up just as the kings in their land do. Women, who come for these parties, have to dress as common folks as back in the old days.
If you choose not to dress up like a king, then you have the option to even dress up as an angel or a shepherd. If you can bring along a sheep or goat that will be make the party even better. The word “Epiphany” means to have an insight or revelation on a certain subject in your life. So parties such as these, have people going up to the mike and talking about some of serious lessons of life that they have learnt.

Boxing Day started off with nations keeping boxes on their voyaging ship, which were a collection of alms for the poor. Today Boxing Day is celebrated like a party, where either the proceeds of the party go to charity or the party itself is something lavish for those who are underprivileged.

What is so unique about Christmas Eve parties is that everyone is eager for Christmas day because people have held on the whole year to celebrate just this special day and Christmas Eve relates more to the peak of this excitement.
